A number of our Fifth and TY students were invited along with their teachers Ms Walsh and Ms O’Shaughnessy to join Lecturers and Students of Politics along with Corks Lord Mayor and European Commissioner Mairéad McGuinness in the Aula Maxima this morning for the 2024 Monahan Lecture.
Ireland’s EU Commissioner, Mairéad McGuinness delivered a public lecture about why people should get involved in politics and her experiences in the European Institutions. It was a very enjoyable and informative afternoon. Thank you to Mr Quinlivan Senior Lecturer in UCC for the invitation.
