TY students enjoyed their final day of STEM Passport for Inclusion Project Workshops. What an incredible 3 days!

Students were introduced to a variety of new skills including AI and ethics, programming, design thinking and academic writing skills. This afternoon was rounded off with Dragons Den style presentations from the students. Their final task is an academic essay. Thank you to Dr Aoife Ní Fhlatharta, MTU for delivering this fantastic programme and to Ms Foley for coordinating everything in order to facilitate it in our library in St Al’s.

Following submission of their final essay, students will earn a university qualification in partnership with the Microsoft Dream Space team through Maynooth University, Munster Technological University and Atlantic Technological University which sits on the national framework as a level 6, 5-credit module entitled Introduction to 21st Century STEM skills.
