The Student Council are a key representation for Student voice at St. Als. The members of the Student Council organise a number of events in school including non-uniform days, fund raising and looking at our school the students perspective.
The Student Council in consultation with the Principal and Deputy Principal discuss issues such as the uniform; assessment and school policies.
Regular events organised by the Student Council include:
- Themed no uniform days at Christmas and Halloween
- Cake Sales
- Giving Tree for St. Vincent de Paul – November / December
- Hampers for St. Vincent de Paul – November / December
- Culture Day
- Open night tours
- Assist with SHARE representatives on the SHARE no-uniform day
- Attend CEIST Student leadership conference
- Work together on leadership roles in school
