A Warm Irish Welcome to International Students considering joining St Aloysius’ School
We welcome international students into second and transition year, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer places into other year groups. All international students joining St Aloysius are required to hold a valid Irish Personal Public Service Number.
St. Aloysius Secondary School places a strong value on cultural diversity and we welcome international students from around the world into our school, so they can share their culture with our girls.
Irish Post-Primary Schools
The post-primary school year generally runs from the first week in September to the first week in June.
How do I enrol my child in a post-primary school?
Contact the school office directly. You should enrol your child as early as possible as St Aloysius operate a waiting list.
What is the curriculum in Irish post-primary schools?
At post-primary level there are two cycles: the junior cycle which ends with the Junior Certificate examinations and the senior cycle which ends with the Leaving Certificate examinations.
