TY students had a fantastic experience on Day 1 of 3 days on the STEM Passport for Inclusion workshop provided by @MTU_ie. The programme aims to address the STEM gender gap by challenging gender

biases and supporting women to access STEM skills. On completion of this 3 day programme, students recieve micro credits to acknowledge the skills they have acquired and to support access to third level courses in STEM.

Students met with female mentors from industry and even got to do some programming before the day was out! Thanks to Ms Foley for co-ordinating this excellent programme for our TY students.
