Ceist Leadership Conference 2019
The day began at 10am when students were welcomed by Dr Marie Griffin of CEIST and Dr Gareth Byrne, Associate Professor of Religious Education and Director of Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education, DCU. His Excellency, Archbishop Diarmuid Martin also spoke and thanked so many students and teachers for making the journey to Dublin for the conference. Students from Sancta Maria College, Ballyroan read the official prayer from World Meeting of Families while the CEIST candle was lit to symbolise the light of Christ guiding all CEIST students and uniting us all in one school faith community. VEX Robotics
Well done to the VEX Robotics team who have won 3 prizes at events this year including Design Award, Energy Award and Judges Prize.
Awards Day
Congratulations to all the Awards winners for their dedication, hard work and leadership.
German Success
Hugh congratulations to Sarah & her teacher Ms. Clancy who has won a scholarship to Germany based on her outstanding Junior Certificate German results of the top 2% nationally. Scholarships are funded by the German Foreign Office with selection based solely on exam performance.
